Right Light
The Right Light picture was taken in Heisler Park
on the north end. Photographers will know how difficult
it is when the sun is going down, to get detail in
the shadows without blowing out the highlights of
a photo. This picture shows just the right lighting
conditions to capture the tonal range for which I
was looking.
Romance
The Romance photo was also taken in Heisler Park
looking down from one of the few lookout points. As
Laguna Beach is a romantic location, this couple had
made there own semi-private spot on the large rocks
below.
Rock Walls with Color
The Rock Walls with Color are just north of Heisler
Park in a little known passage to the beach. The photo
doesn't quite do the colors justice as they turned
out a bit muted. I didn't want to go too far in Photoshop
curves as to destroy the integrity of the original
image, so I left it a bit muted.
